Grantsmanship | Career Mentoring | Institutional Planning

Grant Writing Mentors works with institutions and their respective trainees and faculty providing researchers with the knowledge and skills to think strategically when crafting their grant applications and developing their careers.  With 200+ years of collective experience, we provide expert, experienced-based training and mentoring for researchers at every stage of their career.  In addition, this experience enables GWM to provide the participants of our workshops and courses a unique, real-world perspective to assist them in creating successful grant applications, presenting science effectively, and developing successful careers.  While GWM has special expertise in navigating grants and programs from NIH, the principles that we teach are broadly applicable to other federal agencies and private foundations.   With institutions we work to enhance their research enterprise by developing effective strategies that maximize their strengths and capitalize on diverse opportunities.

GWM works with colleges, universities, research organizations, and professional societies to develop customized seminars, one- and two—day workshops, multi-week grant writing courses, plus small group and individual (institution or personal) consultation. Our goal is to advance the skills and careers of students, trainees, and faculty and as a consequence strengthen the research capacities of the organizations where they study and work.
